Monroe Twp., New Jersey, October 28, 2013……………………………….

The Laborers’ International Union of North America has come our more than a year in advance to support the re-election of United States Congressman Frank LoBiondo (NJ-2). The Union wants to be clear that regardless of his competition, LIUNA knows that Frank LoBiondo is the right man for the job and that he will have the union’s support.

“For close to 20 years, Frank LoBiondo has shown a willingness to work tirelessly and collaboratively to advance the interests of his district and this nation,” said LIUNA Vice President and Regional Manager Raymond M. Pocino.    “In the countless times we have worked with Congressman LoBiondo he has never asked our political beliefs or focused on partisan issues.  He has always looked for common ground and to craft common sense policies. He believes that he is elected to Congress to make things better for his constituents, not score political points for himself or his party.”

As a member of the important House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, as well as its Highway and Transit Subcommittee, Congressman LoBiondo has taken a keen interest in how an efficient transportation system and wise infrastructure investment can improve both the economy and the quality of life of residents.  He rightfully believes that to grow America, we must invest in America.  The Laborers’ International Union of North America agrees.

Our two-party system of government with its checks and balances requires public servants willing to fight passionately for what they believe in but who also are willing to cooperate and compromise to meet the needs of district constituents and Americans everywhere.  Frank LoBiondo is a man of experience, integrity and character, as well as drive and ability.  LIUNA wants more men like Frank LoBiondo in Congress
