Apprenticeship registration closes Oct. 28, 2016

The New Jersey Construction Craft Laborers’ Apprenticeship Program is accepting Apprentice applications. 

The Applicant must:

·    Be 18 years of age or older.

·    Be physically able to perform the work of the trade.

·    Possess a valid and current driver’s license.

·    Applicants are required to take and pay a $50 fee for the drug test and a $16 fee for the skills assessment test.

The program consists of 4,000 hours of on the job training (two years or longer) and 400 hours of related classroom instruction.  Apprentices begin at 60% of the Journeyman’s rate with 10% increase every 1,000 work hours and related classroom instruction.

Applications must be filled out in person at any New Jersey Laborers’ Training Center from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M., Monday through Friday.  Applicants must present their driver’s license at time of application.  Check local address below for further information.  Applications will not be mailed out.  The New Jersey Construction Craft Laborers’ Apprenticeship Program provides an Equal Opportunity Apprenticeship.
