The New Jersey Laborers Union has announced that it is supporting Congressman Jon Runyan in his race for reelection to the United States House of Representatives serving New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.  The Union cited Runyan’s pragmatic voting record and strong support of economic development and policies that create jobs for New Jerseyans.

The New Jersey Laborers Union is the statewide affiliate of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA).  With more than 20,000 members statewide, including more than 1,100 members who reside in the 3rd Congressional District, the Laborers Union is committing its resources to the Runyan campaign.  During the months leading up to the election, The New Jersey Laborers Union will mobilize hundreds of member-volunteers who will work on get-out-the-vote drives and member-to-member political education.

Laborers Vice-President and Eastern Regional Manager Raymond M. Pocino voiced his support:  “In just two short years, Jon Runyan has proven himself to be a dedicated public servant who uses his power and public office to reach across party lines.  He has demonstrated that his priority is to help his constituents in the 3rd District and help this nation get on the right path towards prosperity.”
